Issues were found when emails sent to Gmail domains ended up in the spam folder while other emails were delivered appropriately in an ASP.NET MVC project using.NET 4.5.2. Deliverability can be increased by investigating SMTP setups, such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, and by employing the appropriate email sending protocols.
